A four-car DMU approaching Long Preston travelling towards Leeds. The power cars are Met-Camms, the closest with original lining has BUT 150hp engines, the rear car in revised lining appears to be a Rolls-Royce powered car. The centre cars are BRC&Ws, one in blue and one in green. Stuart Mackay Collection.

An unidentified class 110 DMU with a Class 108 TBSL was photographed arriving at Long Preston station on the "Little North Western" on 28 March 1989 while working a Morecambe to Leeds service. The platelayers' hut on the left had clearly seen better days and was probably not long for this world... Peter Tandy.
